     Five, working principle
    The device is composed of disconnector, vacuum contactor, capacitor, series reactor, discharge coil, transformer, lightning arrester, control device and measuring and protecting device. The whole structure of the device can be divided into cabinet type and frame type. The capacitor and series reactor branches are divided into several groups and switched by vacuum contactor respectively to compensate the reactive power of the system and improve the power factor.
    Six, performance characteristics
    1, the use of high-quality high-voltage power capacitors, high reliability, long life, small loss, low operating temperature rise;
    2. The difference between the actual capacitance of the device and its rated capacitance does not exceed 0-10% of the rated value, and the ratio of the maximum capacitance to the minimum capacitance between any two line terminals of the device does not exceed 1.06.
    3. Insulation level of the device: 6 kV rated voltage of the complete set of devices, the main circuit between the phases and between the phases and ground, power frequency withstand voltage (root-mean-square value) 23 kV, 1 min; 10 kV rated voltage of the complete set of devices between the main circuit and the ground, power frequency withstand voltage (root-mean-square value) 30 kV, 1 min; Power frequency withstand voltage (root mean square value) 2kV, 1min.
    4. In addition to the protection of single fuse, different relaying protection is provided for the internal fault of capacitor according to the main wiring type. Open triangle voltage protection, neutral point unbalanced current protection or voltage differential protection can be used for capacitor bank protection.
    5. The device allows long term operation at 1.1 times rated voltage.
    6. The device allows continuous operation under steady-state overcurrent of 1.3 times the rated current due to overvoltage and high-order harmonics.
    7, the external discharge device of the capacitor can reduce the residual voltage of the capacitor to less than 50V in 5S after power failure.
    8. Selection and distribution reactance of 1% - 13% series reactor to limit the switching inrush current and suppress specific sub-harmonic;
